The Medicines, we are giving by the free of cost and follow up treatment medicine are also encased particularly for their below poverty line street urchins, beggars and neglected community without organized or systematic medical help. Gender is a mainstay of Blue Moon’s work. A cross-cutting priority, Gender concerns are embedded in each and every activity. We strongly believe that Gender is often perceived as the favoring of women’s rights and responsibilities, it goes beyond women. We support women to acquire different capacities and knowledge while also recognizing that they have different needs and interests. The Gender equality can only be achieved when men and women are equally empowered; Blue Moon gives emphasis to level the playing field. It does this by building up women’s social capital and management capabilities and facilitating their empowerment by organizing them into solidarity groups (SHGs & JLGs). Blue Moon envisages encompassing the entire human life and his/her surroundings. It aims to empower the weak, to ignite hope in the hopeless, to strengthen the fragile and to heal the wounded. It has miles to go and a long mission to accomplish with a good ambition to uplift downtrodden and weaker sections of the society. Our efforts to bring them to a level and to have good living and can join with mainstream of community who are enjoying all the amenities.

Blue Moon is deeply concerned about beach pollution such as plastic bags, cans, containers, medical waste, needles & surgical instruments which could be harmful to the environment, and wildlife. In the long-term, any beach pollution would discourage tourist and affect tourism. Hence, it is our mission to relentlessly pursue science and use advanced technology to ensure plastic free beaches. Blue Moon has been associated with several beach cleaning campaigns at Kerala. Where in our Volunteers worked tirelessly to remove the waste and make a visible difference to the cleanliness of the beach. Clean water and healthy beaches are a priority for environmentally conscious governments. The coast would always be a prominent tourist destination. We all have a stake in ensuring the beaches are protected, however, genuine concern alone would not help in keeping the beach clean. It requires professional competency to make a difference. Blue Moon uses its coastal management expertise to completely understand every distinct environment and its practical experience to develop and deliver a holistic solution, best suited to a specific coastal environment.

We have started the new cell under the management of Blue Moon Charitable Trust named Pollution Control Federation and conducting various mass awareness programmes in different areas in the Kerala State. According to the verification of our organizational Audit Report and Activity reports by CPCB, we have enlisted with Central Pollution Control Board under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change.
